Kansas Bass Pro Shop

We finally went to the Bass Pro Shop over here in Kansas! It was nicer than the one in Texas, dangit! It was more like Cabela's with all the animals and it had two huge fish tanks and a seafood restaurant! We had fun in the little time we were there.. Getting good pictures of Brayden was my main concern. Oh, and not buying the whole store would have to come in second! There wasn't the best light in there so we tried to get the camera to adjust so some of them came out great and some of them kind of dark or blurry!

This is what Jeremy wanted.. Maybe for Christmas... I told him there was no way we were getting that in Kansas to ride home with it for 14 hours in the car in our faces!! I told him to take a picture with it so we could show Lloyd what he didn't get to buy! Don't worry, I got him a t-shirt instead! :)

Park Excursion

This post is going to have lots of pictures as well-- just FYI. I am a pretty boring blogger! Maybe things will heat up when Brayden starts walking and talking! Brayden and I decided to venture out today and we went to the park. There are a ton of parks around here and I just so happened to pick the best one! I couldn't get a picture of the whole thing because I didn't want to playgroup moms to think I was snapping a picture of their kids.. creepy.. Anyway, it was a huge pirate ship and it was way impressive! They don't even have that at the always cool Landa Park in Texas. Anyway, all is good here and the weather has been like 65 degrees and sunny! Hope everyone is doing well and has a great Halloween!

Brayden's famous!

I can't believe it! I saw this picture and it hit me all at once! Brayden looks like WILL FERRELL! Scary, huh? Uncle Lloyd will be PROUD! He should have been Will for Halloween!

We have one gifted kid..

Our dear child at the ripe old age of um, ONE, has decided that he will start sticking his tongue out! You can't laugh at him because that just makes it worse! He will stick his tongue out so far it makes him gag! It is quite entertaining.. Give me a break on the pamper and wild man hair.. he wasn't feeling good! I will try to get some better pictures of this soon!

Bass Pro Shop

When we were working Hurricane Ike in Houston we were close to Katy Mills Mall. It has a Bass Pro Shop Outdoor World connected to it, so of course, we were there! I went and shopped in the mall until Jeremy was done looking around so we could take Brayden to the fish tank to see the fish! They also have a Bass Pro Shop here in Kansas, like five minutes from us, that we have not made it to yet and it's killing Jeremy. We will go soon and I'm sure it is exactly the same as all the others. Oh well, I'm sure I might get some good pictures out of it!
